What the Cape Town market is actually doing.

Historical market data for prospective owners and investors — not a forecast, and not advice.

Sea Point & Green Point

The Atlantic Seaboard's premier nodes — limited waterfront supply and strong international demand have driven consistent capital growth well above the city average.

Woodstock & Salt River

The city's fastest-appreciating regeneration corridor, driven by urban renewal and spillover demand from pricier neighbouring suburbs.

De Waterkant & Mouille Point

Small, tightly-held pockets with some of the highest per-square-metre values in the city, and correspondingly low turnover.

Regulatory landscape

Cape Town has no dedicated short-term-let law today; a draft 2026 by-law and national code of practice are both still in progress. We track both closely.

About

Built by owners, for owners.

Aloe started with our own properties — long-term lets we knew could work harder, and a semigration move from Johannesburg to the Atlantic Seaboard that put us in the market every day, not just on paper.

We manage a deliberately small number of homes at a time, because the difference between an average listing and a well-run one shows up in occupancy, reviews and, eventually, resale value.
